Institutional Governance
Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College strives to maintain an internal decision-making process based on consultative governance. Within consultative governance, opportunities for participation and consultation are provided for all constituent groups including administrators, faculty, classified staff, students, and district residents. This system of shared-governance is based upon an atmosphere of collegiality and mutual respect and is guided by the principles of disclosure, responsiveness, and accountability.
