Scholarship Golf Tournament

The Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation held its annual Scholarship Golf Tournament on August 25th at the Logan Country Club. Capturing First Place honors was the team of Mike Veres, Lucky Jones, Larry Chafin, and Jim Grimment with an overall score of 54. Each golfer received a $100 gift certificate and a plaque. The winning team was sponsored by All In Good Taste. Ron Lemon, Director of Development at Southern, said all proceeds from the golf tournament go the Southern Foundation Scholarship Fund.
