Secretary of State Betty Ireland visits Southern

West Virginia's Secretary of State Betty Ireland visited Logan County on November 8th to discuss Voter Registration training which is being offered in conjunction with the Community and Technical College System. Secretary Ireland visited the Logan Campus of Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College where she recorded an edition of Inside Southern with hostess Juanita Topping. During the interview, Secretary Ireland said West Virginia's average age for a poll worker is 73.

The Poll Worker training will prepare participants for the new electronic voting system in 2006.
