Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation
The Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation has made a commitment of $500 each to the Williamson and Logan/Boone chapters of the NAACP. The initial $250 checks were presented by Southern's Foundation Accountant Patsy Cutlip at the conclusion of a Harmony Week planning meeting held at The Brass Tree Thursday evening. Southern and the NAACP are working together to organize multi-cultural events on each of the College's four campuses from February 19 through March 3, 2006. Harmony Week is dedicated to multi-culturalism, diversity and education within our communities.
