Fourth Annual Partnership Appreciation Dinner

Logan, WV - The Department of Economic, Workforce and Community Development at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College hosted its Fourth Annual Partnership Appreciation Dinner at the Earl Ray Tomblin Convention Center on October 18th.

Southern's President Joanne Jaeger Tomblin, welcomed the guests and gave an update on the college's new programs and accomplishments over the past year. She also thanked everyone for supporting Southern in its efforts to provide quality education in southern West Virginia.

The award presentations were conducted by Allyn Sue Barker, Vice President for Economic, Workforce and Community Development. Those receiving awards and gifts were Southern's 58 Partners in Education, 20 Business Partners, 27 Benefactors and 93 Partners in Progress.

Entertainment for the evening was performed by Robbie Hall and the piano was provided by Don Elkins Music. A special thanks to the "Sounds of Southern" and Phyllis Osenton for the lovely patriotic musical performances.
