CH 213 Principles of Chemistry I (F) 4 Semester HoursPrerequisite: EN 090, EN 099, or minimum acceptable test scores for placement in college-level English and MT 123 (MT 123 waived for ACT math score of 20 or higher)A Laboratory Course: 3 hours in the classroom and 2 hours lab work each week.Intended as a general chemistry course for college students, this course covers the properties of matter and their measurement, atomic theory, reaction stoichiometry and thermochemistry. Electron configurations, chemical bonding, and molecular geometry will also be introduced.
