IT 250 Database Management System Concepts (O)

3 Semester Hours Prerequisite: IT 112 or permission of the Department Chair. This course covers database design and administration. Includes topics of relational database models, file normalization, object oriented systems, distributed systems, client/server systems, data warehousing, and implications of the Internet and intranets for database management. Also includes an introduction to SQL.
