George Kostas
President
George Kostas serves as president of Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation, Inc. Mr. Kostas is a retired businessman of the Logan area and is the priest at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Logan, West Virginia. Mr. Kostas has served on the Foundation since its inception in 1971. During his tenure, he has served as president and vice president on the Executive Board and is a member of the Investment Committee.
Eddie Canterbury

Eddie serves as Vice President of Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation, Inc. Mr. Canterbury is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Logan Bank and Trust in Logan, West Virginia. He has served twenty-one years on the Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation Board. Mr. Canterbury brings his investment and financial expertise along with his thirty-nine years of service at Logan Bank and Trust.
Elizabeth Kostas
Secretary
Elizabeth Kostas serves as Secretary on the Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation Executive Board and is a member of the Investment Committee. She has served on the Foundation for thirty-eight years. She is a retired business owner.
Mark Mareske
Treasurer
Mark Mareske serves as Treasurer on the Foundation Board. He is also a member of the Executive Board and Investment Committee. Mr. Mareske oversees Foundation financial management procedures, financial audits and budgets. He serves as Vice President/Chief Financial Officer at Logan Bank and Trust in Logan, West Virginia. Mr. Mareske is a member of the First Christian Church in Logan and has worked at Logan Bank and Trust for twenty years.
David 'Scotty' Scott
Member
David 'Scotty' Scott is a member of the Foundation Executive Board and is a member of the Southern Investment Committee. Mr. Scott is a Southern graduate and is owner and operator of the Scott Insurance and Financial Services in Chapmanville, West Virginia.
Phyllis Osenton
Member
Phyllis Osenton is a retired music educator and central office administrator with the Logan County School System. She is a member of the Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation Executive Committee. She has served on the Foundation Board since 2006.
