Southern West Virginia Community College Foundation received a $10,000 contribution from Logan Bank and Trust (LB&T) during the annual board meeting held at the 317 Steak House in Logan, WV on December 15. The contribution supports the Adult Basic Education/Eddie Canterbury Educational Scholarship at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College. The scholarship was established in 2005 by Eddie Canterbury and recognizes the importance and value of adult basic education and assisting students pursuing a higher education. The scholarship is only available to GED recipients.
