New Building at Williamson Campus
The rendering is becoming a reality as construction continues for the Applied Technology Facility on the Williamson Campus of Southern West Virginia and Community College. The building progresses with an anticipated opening in the fall of 2013.
“The Applied Technology Facility will give our students a location to better serve them,” said First Lady/President of Southern West Virginia and Technical College, Joanne Jaeger Tomblin.
The Building will be the new home for Respiratory Care Technology Program and other programs yet to be determined.
According to Rita Roberson, Director of Campus Operations/Williamson , the exterior work is nearly complete and interior drywall work is on schedule. At completion, the building will have about 25000 square feet of space.
“You are a product of your environment, and at Southern our environment has to be an extraordinary, challenging place to think differently, adapt quickly and help students prepare for the future.”
