Uniting Cultures, Breaking Barriers...Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College representatives and members of the Boone, Logan and Williamson Branches of the NAACP met September 22nd at the Earl Ray Tomblin Convention Center to discuss plans for Black History Month and Harmony Week 2006. Southern and the NAACP have developed a partnership to promote multi-culturalism, diversity and education within our communities. Special programs are being planned for February and March and will be announced.
