
This Business Administration degree is designed to provide understanding of the technical aspects of the area of Business Administration. This degree is career-oriented and allows direct entry into the business community. A basic knowledge of the business organization and procedures (accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing), a general education background enables employment in management, real estate, banking, sales, human resource management, and other areas of business administration.

The Business Administration Associate in Applied Science Degree provide opportunities for students who may want to focus on a specific area of emphasis in Entrepreneurship, Health Care Management, Hospitality Management, or Marketing. If a student wishes to continue into a four-year degree program, 2+2 agreements are in place with several institutions: Concord University (last two years there), Franklin University (on-line), West Virginia State University (part of last two years of courses will be taught at Southern with travel to State's campus for the remaining, and Midway.
