The Board of Governors of Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, in conjunction with the President, has established minimum gift levels of monetary contributions and guidelines for gift naming opportunities. The Board of Governors is the final authority for official approval of any named facility and/or organizational unit of the College. The President of Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College is responsible for reviewing all requests and criteria of names proposed for campus buildings (existing and planned), any portion thereof, outdoor facilities, as well as the College schools and major programs. The President will forward the request along with a recommendation to the Board of Governors for its final approval. See SCP-1481, Naming of Facilities or Organizational Units, for the most current naming policy established by the Board of Governors.
