Workforce Development
Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College supports regional and local efforts to diversify and strengthen the area economy. To accomplish this, Southern provides several key services. The educational and training role is obvious. However, under Workforce Development - Customized Training and Continuing Education, the college can contract directly with your business to provide a wide range of training needs.
Southern supports the efforts of area economic development authorities and chambers of commerce. Southern supports these organizations by providing research capability, technical assistance, training, and other professional assistance as needed by the customer or local organization.
