Why craft brewing?
At the local level throughout the country, breweries, brewpubs, restaurants and retailers are creating new job and tourism opportunities as part of a growing craft brew movement resulting significant local and state economic impacts.

Who Should Attend? Retailers, Store Managers, Hotel, Restaurant, Bar and Pub Owners, Bar Tenders, Servers, or Buyers. Must be at least 21 years of age to attend.

How To Register: Register at any Southern Campus or by calling 304-896-7434. Attendees must pre-register by November 1, 2017.

Taught by Cicerone Certified professionals, participants will learn:
• What is craft beer exactly? Definitions
• Why should I carry craft beer? (Economic impact in WV, market share, what visitors and locals want)
• Will it cost too much?
• Will my customer base buy it?
• What barriers will I face?
• What WV brewers wish I knew
• What WV distributors wish I knew and How do I work better with them?
• How should I market the craft beer I sell?
• What are best ways to offer craft beer at my business? What are growler stations?
• What should my staff and I know about craft beer?
