Accreditation Essentials

Description: This presentation will provide an overview of the Higher Learning Commission’s Open and Standard Pathways to Accreditation with timelines for each. In addition, the Criteria for Accreditation, effective September 2020, will be reviewed along with evidence institutions may consider for inclusion during an Assurance Review or Comprehensive Evaluation visit as well as how the Criteria for Accreditation are judged. Finally, the presentation will touch on the components of Federal Compliance.

Title IX, Sexual Harassment, ADA, and FERPA Professional Development Session

Description: This workshop updates employees regarding the changes to Title IX and the College’s policies and procedures. Employees will learn about their responsibilities regarding Title IX, and how to report incidents of sexual harassment, misconduct, and other forms of discrimination. Presenters will discuss new College policies related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as well as reminders about ADA/Section 504 and FERPA.
