Ramaco Holds Job Fair at Southern's Logan Campus

Southern was host to Ramaco's job fair this past weekend. The turnout, for this event, filled our parking lots to capacity with job-seekers. Carl Baisden, Director of Southern's Academy for Mine Training and Energy Technologies, commented that it was "one of the largest job fairs we have done in my 10+ years at Southern," and that "over 800 applications were given out" during the day's activities.

    Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College has been designated one of 2018's "Best for Vets" award by Military Times.

    Veterans Coordinator for Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College's Military and Veteran Success Center, shared the news and is proud to be an integral part of the success in increasing the school's military and veteran enrollment.
