Coalfield Development Delivery Driver will primarily work with a collaborative project that involves regional agricultural aggregation and distribution of local products at our Food Hub facility which include: produce, value-added goods, and some frozen goods. Secondly, the driver will work within the goals of the Re-Use Corridor moving and transporting recycled goods to partners and facilities throughout the region. The driver may also be asked at times to transport materials within the organization in order to accomplish various projects.

As a Delivery Driver, you will:

Efficiently deliver high-quality product to customers by the specified time, following all driver safety rules.

Process paperwork and payment accurately, including keeping a consistent delivery log.

Provide professional customer service and represent the Coalfield Development and Partners and missions during all customer interactions.

Assist in food hub operations including loading trucks, palletizing products, and pulling orders.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of aggregation and distribution equipment and areas.

Perform any other duties as requested by the Refresh Appalachia Director and/or Conservation Director.

Drive and maintain a 26 foot box truck weekly

Distribute deliveries to multiple customers within a specified period of time

Be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Be able to drive for extended periods of time (up to a 400 mile route a day. The shift end-time fluctuates with the employer’s daily needs)

Perform routine document collection and submission

Review invoices for accuracy before leaving the facility to ensure all products are available and meet Quality Specs.

Communicate with supervisors and colleagues regularly via various communication platforms

Ensure orders are complete and of the highest quality before leaving the facility.

Immediately report when a customer does not receive their entire order.

Maintain vehicle records including mileage logs and service dates.

Run regional routes at least two times per week, and local routes 2-3 times per week, operating efficiently to meet or exceed designated route times. Current routes are from Huntington to Charleston, Weston, and Kermit, West Virginia. Additional routes to Fayetteville, Lewisburg, and Athens, Ohio may be added on a less frequent basis.

Responsible for upkeep of vehicles at end of delivery, refueling, and cleaning cab and box

Responsible for regular service and maintenance scheduling of delivery vehicles.

Lift and move cases (selecting product and placing on a pallet) ranging in weight up to 75 lbs continuously to and from heights ranging from floor to overhead.

Climb on and off the box of the truck.

Excellent at time management, task prioritization, and organization.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Be knowledgeable of product and company mission, vision, and goals.

1040 Vernon Street, Huntington, WV 25704 will be the primary reporting location with variable work hours throughout the week (30 to 40 hours) with most work days being 8am to 5pm.

Candidates must provide reliable transportation to their primary work location. Coalfield has a limited fleet of vehicles and frequently carpools to minimize travel burdens on employees. Travel expenses (excluding commutes) may be reimbursed per Coalfield’s policies and procedures.

Proficient with computers, email, Google applications, and messaging apps.

Proficient with standard office equipment (phone system, copier/printer, scanners, etc.)

Must have a valid driver’s license issued by a state authority.

Must have experience driving large vehicles.

Have a CDL Class B

Forklift certified preferred but not required.
Experience moving agricultural products I.E. vegetables, fruits, dairy etc. is a plus.
Inventory management.
Some experience with food safety and safe food handling

Must have a clean driving record.

The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing and Business Development team in delivering excellent results for the firm. This position will provide high-quality support, adhering to best practices and leading to improved performance of the firm. This role will involve working closely with all administrative functions of the firm, including IT, Accounting and HR, as well as all attorneys, including partners, special counsel and associates, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Track and coordinate corporate sponsorships, attorney and firm memberships, industry meetings and conferences, and more;
Proactively identify and monitor progress of potential matters for internal or external promotion (i.e., PR opportunities, website updates, e-alerts);
Manage the internal and external events process for the firm. This includes invitation preparation and distribution, mailing list and RSVP management, venue and logistics organization, and on-site coordination with other team specialists/vendors as appropriate;
Assist with management of firm’s social media platforms, including content creation and promotion, analytics tracking and reporting, and replies to inquiries;
Regularly check relevant pages of the website and proactively suggest updates to keep content fresh and current;
Work with the design team on creating/amending designed materials (i.e., advertisements, brochures, posters);
Manage client database/mailing list and contact collection process using firm CRM tool and use to distribute email campaigns, e-alerts, blog posts and other firm communications;
Ensure lawyer bios, experience list and other credentials are up to date and consistently formatted; and
Attend selected practice group meetings and take detailed minutes;

Degree(s) or professional qualifications that have a marketing component would put you in a strong position but are not required.
Marketing experience preferred but not required.
Experience with Microsoft Office is required; Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
