HOMELAND SECURITY MEETING AT SOUTHERN

In collaboration with local, county, state, and federal agencies associated with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia, we cordially invite you to participate in the Boone, Lincoln, Logan, and Mingo Homeland Security Meeting.

The first meeting is Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College in Building A.

This meeting will occur quarterly and aims to encourage and foster professional partnerships between the many different first responders on state and federal levels. This meeting will enhance current long-standing alliances and develop new networking partnerships to protect the communities we serve.

The initial meeting will be a meet and greet/roundtable session for everyone to get to know one another and discuss meeting expectations. We will also watch a brief video and discuss active shooter situations.

Our goal for future meetings is to have a brief presentation and discussion about essential community topics and for agencies to share information vital to their mission with the group.
