Southern WV Community & Technical College Offers Weekend RN Program — Become a Registered Nurse in Just 16 Months

Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College is now accepting applications for its Weekend Registered Nurse Program, designed for working professionals who want to advance their careers without putting their lives on hold. This accelerated pathway allows students to earn their RN degree in as little as 16 months, with classes conveniently scheduled on weekends.
Applications must be submitted by September 11, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements:

Complete the TEAS exam before submitting your application.
Must be a licensed LPN or hold an associate degree in one of the following fields:
- Medical Assisting
- Medical Laboratory
- Paramedic Science
- Radiologic Technology
- Respiratory Care Technology
- Surgical Technology

Applicants with an unrelated bachelor’s or master’s degree may also qualify, provided they hold a current healthcare license.
