Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College Offering Free FAFSA Assistance

Logan, WV — Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College is offering free, hands-on assistance with completing the 2026–2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every Thursday throughout November.
Sessions will take place at the Logan Campus Student Services Center, and you don’t need to make an appointment.
Southern’s Financial Aid team will be available to help students and families navigate the FAFSA process and answer questions about grants, scholarships, and student loans.
Participants should bring the following items:
 

• A valid photo ID
• Social Security number
• 2024 tax information
• Email addresses for both the student and parent

This is a great opportunity for students and their families to receive one-on-one assistance and ensure they don’t miss out on the financial aid opportunities available to them.
