Christy Spry is a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certified by American Society of Clinical Pathology and is also a member of the WV chapter of American Society for Clinical Lab Sciences. During her work experience prior to coming to Southern, she worked in lab facilities around the state in a variety of positions. She was also a certified teacher in chemistry and physics for Logan County Schools. At Southern, she enjoys teaching Medical Lab Technology (MLT) student labs to help prepare students to work in clinical facilities and assists in lectures as needed. She also likes working with Medical Lab Assistant (MLA) students in lecture and lab to help them gain skills necessary to become successful in the workforce
