Debbie began employment with Southern in October 1997 in the Human Resources Department as the Benefits Representative. She was later promoted to Program Coordinator for Benefits and then Human Resources Representative. In 2013, she was appointed as Director of Human Resources. In 2021 she was named the Chief Human Resources Officer. She is a member of WorkatWork Society of Certified Professionals and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
