Biography

Stephanie Mounts joined Southern as faculty in 2015. Prior to Southern, she was employed in the banking and nonprofit industries. She has experience in corporate and nonprofit accounting, human resource management, and program development. Stephanie has also served on the Board of Directors for several local nonprofit organizations and offers business consulting services to for-profit and nonprofit organizations to assist with business structure, organization, licensure, tax planning, and accounting. Stephanie is an Enrolled Agent credentialled through the IRS and coordinates the annual free tax preparation services through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program on campus.
