Ms. Irfan is a naturalized citizen of the US. She has been at Southern was 18 years. She taught for the University of Punjab for 21 years before moving to the US and later taught at KVCC Kalamazoo, Baker College Muskegon, Mi. and Mountain State University Beckley, WV. Altogether, she has taught for 39 years. She tries to make every moment a teaching or a learning moment. Her passion has been teaching and she would never exchange a day in her life for teaching. Her other loves are traveling, Nature and reading. Having lived on four different continents and traveled extensively, she has made WV her home. For her, it offers so much natural beauty and allows her time to spend outdoors and pursue her passion for gardening. Ms. Irfan is a published author. Her book, Holy Spirit, has been read and enjoyed by many. She has also represented Southern at Oxford University Britain as a presenter at a conference in 2008.
