The Salon Management/Cosmetology Program provides the student with the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in the cosmetology field. At the end of the first, second, and fourth semesters the student shall become licensed by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Barbers and Cosmetologists (Board) as a Nail Technician, Aesthetician, and Hair Stylist. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will become licensed as a Professional Cosmetologist. This program exceeds the 1,800 clock hours required by the Board.
