The AAS-Skilled Trades serves those who successfully complete eligible apprenticeships, defined as those training programs registered through the United States Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship and offered through a training program authorized by the Trades Council, having become Apprenticeship Certificate Holders, and who meet college admission and STAND eligibility criteria. This nontraditional program provides students with the opportunity to achieve an associate degree through a combination of apprenticeship learning, on-the-job training, and completion of general education coursework.
